lcs… that local(ish) crew from liverpool.
Welcome to the digital home of Liverpool Crewing Solutions, a formidable collective of passionate events people with a common social purpose: to instigate change and improve how our industry supports some of its hardest working, and most diverse, members of any production.
We may be born & bred scousers with Liverpool in our name, however we operate nationally and have been fortunate enough to have developed a growing team of loyal, increasingly skilled stage crew and build & break teams that have toured much of the United Kingdom throughout 2022.
Our backstage network of creative talent, tirelessly grafting behind the scenes and rarely making an appearance at ‘sociable’ hours (outside of a load-in or load-out), are crucial to the survival of our industry and it’s more important than ever before for us to nurture new catalysts and encourage progress, increased diversity, and more aspirational & inspired pathways to skills development – which help future leaders thrive.
Together with some truly amazing partners, our team(s) are responsible for delivering some of the most exciting, ridiculously creative, and genuinely diverse productions over the last year of intense tour dates and the rush of post-Covid diary catch-ups as we emerged from a global pandemic.
The crew members have organically grown with our own commitment to driving change and encouraging disadvantaged & diverse individuals can feel part of this community, engaging with specialist partners such as social enterprises and our networks in the private & public sector, as well as our industry friends whom have a vested interest and mutual passion for seeing our community become a more inclusive & diverse space.
Our touring production portfolio for the last 12-month period includes such large-scale arena & stadium shows for the likes of:
- Sir Elton John (Anfield Stadium – Liverpool; Vicarage Road Stadium – Watford)
- Ed Sheeran (Etihad Stadium – Manchester)
- The Rolling Stones (Anfield Stadium – Liverpool)
- Harry Styles (Old Trafford – Manchester)
- Rammstein (Ricoh Arena – Coventry)
- Green Day (Production Rehearsals; Huddersfield Stadium – Hella Mega Tour)
- Wizkid (O2 Arena – London)
- Stormzy (Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Production Rehearsals)
- Dua Lipa (Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Leeds)
- DAVE (Production Rehearsals, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool, Manchester & more)
- QUEEN & Adam Lambert (Birmingham, Manchester)
- Bryan Adams (Widnes Stadium)
- Little Mix (Production Rehearsals, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham)
- Alicia Keys (Production Rehearsals @ Fly-by-Nite Studios)
- Genesis – The Last Domino Tour (Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, London, Leeds)
Plus… Many, many more iconic live performances, artists, and most of the UK’s major festivals & special one-off stadium shows alongside tours across most genres, eras, and eclectically mixed fan demographics.
Our highlights have included Liam Gallagher @ Knebworth Park, to Production Running during Sir Elton John, The Rolling Stones and The Eagles @ Anfield Stadium – as well as joining multiple dates on major UK tours after starting in those artists’ production rehearsal, then subsequently developing a longer-term relationship with production teams during our experience of joining most dates on their tour!
In our early days, promoting & managing grassroots musicians was our passion. Sadly, promoting gigs to (just about) break-even had to take a back seat whilst beloved independent venues shut their doors and we ventured down more ‘suit & tie’ type workplaces, fondly reminiscent of our creative heritage & passion.
We managed to turn full circle during that global pandemic, and now offer opportunities to those with similar passions for becoming involved & truly diving into our unique community – which we’re slowly making even more unique and diverse as we go!
For people with backgrounds like ours, whose single mothers brought them up to have ethical approaches to each major part of our adulthood – not least the important stuff like employing 35 crew members! – as a mechanism for encouraging a moral and purpose-driven business practice; starting with recruiting those from the same communities in which we had grown up and still very much remain involved in regenerating and infusing more cultural & arts/music-led initiatives to combat lower employment rates and social isolation.
We do more than supply stage crew, steel hands, production assistants, runners, or catering assistants – we hope to positively impact people in our hardest to reach communities and offer meaningful, realistic employment opportunities along the way!
